CMC offers a seven stage immersion zinc phosphate line with two levels of coverage. The first is a microcrystalline or light grain zinc phosphate that yields a coating weight between 300-500 micrograms per square foot. This coating is ideally suited as a pretreatment for painted parts. This line is permanently certified to meet TT-C-490 specification by General Dynamics and T.A.C.O.M. and further job specific certifications are available upon request.

The second zinc phosphate option is a macrocrystalline or heavy grain zinc phosphate that yields a coating weight around 2,000 micrograms per square foot. This coating produces a much heavier thickness that is ideally suited as a base for water soluble oil as a treatment for corrosion protection.

Both barrel and basket capabilities are available to accommodate large and small parts and quantities.

All zinc phosphate finishes can be varied for job specific requirements, and salt spray testing is available with an independent, outside firm.
