Hot-Melt Asphaltic Cavity Lining

CMC offers hot-melt asphaltic cavity lining that is certified to meet military specification MIL-C-3301C. This process uses a hot-melt asphaltic compound to coat the inner walls of metal cases prior to filing with explosives. This procedure is currently used by our larger military customers to line the inside of certain warheads and can be followed by or preceded with the application of other organic coatings.
